Patterns and symbols can express a generation or tradition. They mark human existence and define culture, leaving traces of time spent and values developed.

In my work, I am drawn to rhythms in geography and deviations from one culture to the next. Whether it is a slight mark on paper or the texture of materials layered together, I am translating the landscape of masses - an amalgam of boundaries and borders that connect us to our past and our potential future.
